I would say that the most important theme in this book is blood. It is a main point in the book. People die all the time, and the scenes can be very bloody. The main character has a beginning when he fights the the enemy and kills lots of people when we don't see this as a big problem. Then when he starts to solo out people and the scenes become more bloody he then starts to be affected. So the more blood makes the main character feel the worst.
Also blood is very prominent for other characters too. Lady Macbeth has a scene when she is trying to wipe the blood off of her hand which is a very vivid scene. The movie scene in the play is a very good explanation of this. The scene is vivid and a great scene to explain what Shakespeare is trying to say.

ReplyDeleteI completely agree with this! it is very bloody.. and it goes with the theme I chose, of death. The scene of Lady Macbeth was very interesting and really exemplifies the theme of blood!
